Pocket Rocket as we have affectionately named this little gem was bought believe it or not out of the dogger pens in Victoria due to go in the can straight after xmas. Her Brands were traced and APSB confirmed that she is in fact Redacres Vera. Her breeders were contacted and confirmed her identity also and were happy to transfer her papers to us. An absolute darling and adorded by our kids Pocket has made our feel good (spur of the moment buy) a true pleasure.

Marina was purchased from Bolling Broke Stud in Moorooduc, Victoria, in October 2006 as a kids pony and a brood mare. At the time when we bought Marina she was being broken in at 14 YEARS OLD. I am pleased to say she is an excellent kids pony and has given my very nervous 7 year old daughter loads of confidence. We simply can not fault her. Marina's daughter Bolling Broke Marigold, also palomino, won Supreme after Supreme in her show career. Marina is a lovely quiet mare and this trait will hopefully be passed on to her progeny.
UPDATED Marina has been diagnosed with Cushings disease. The Disease is in an advanced stage. Shania, our daughter is devastated. The stud we bought her from didn't seem surprised when I rang them and told them, although they did not admit to knowing Marina had this disease they knew alot about it for a stud that had never seen it before. SHAME ON THEM!!!!!!!!
I have been researching this disease and have found treatments which can all but cure her. We are waiting for the herbs to arrive and hopefully Marina can start her treatment next week.
Shania has chosen one of our other mares, Golden Rosie who we will finish breaking in after her foal is weaned next year.
